System Function and Features:

This transfer cart is a self-contained powered vehicle complete with power distribution, drives and motors, which is operator pendant controlled, and designed with independent drive wheels to allow the cart to accurately turn about its own centre.  It is custom designed with high tolerance positioning to operate in tight quarters, to facilitate the periodic change-out of shielded filter vessels. This unique compact vehicle provides a large lift capacity, but with an extremely sensitive touch.
It incorporates a heavy lift mechanism to raise the vessels for relocation by the cart.  A set of mechanical brakes, independent of the drive system, provides emergency braking and parking.
Operation of the cart is intentionally manual to avoid the safety concerns which would be associated with automatic operation for this application.
