With aging reactors it is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain OEM parts or replacements for original nuclear components. ODIM Numet can support the replacement of nuclear qualified components when OEM supply is no longer available for the following types of conditions.

• Loss of ASME certification
• Failure to maintain acceptable QA Programs
• Inability to adapt to new requirements
• No longer in business 

As an ASME certified facility with 30 years of experience in the design of nuclear pressure vessels and components, we use our expertise and experience to find the best way to solve these procurement challenges. Where possible we work with the original supplier and we provide only those services required that the original equipment manufacturer will not, or cannot, provide, to complete the supply process.

Involvement in the process may include;

• Re-registration under Numet's name 
• Reverse engineering for new design requirements
• Nuclear material supply
• Fabrication / assembly support,
• NDE and testing
• Quality assurance and auditing.

Where the original equipment cannot be provided, equivalent components can be designed and supplied.  Typical examples of such equipment supplied by ODIM Numet are shown in the illustrations below. ODIM Numet can however provide, or support the procurement of, any nuclear or pressure boundary component to a client’s specific requirements.
